9/22/06 - Final Show of 2006

Hey Folks,

our last show of 2006 will be with Sparta @ The Glass House on September 28th. After that, shows will be very sparse in 2007 due to our priorities in writing/recording our new album and Francis' relocation to New York City in October of this year. We will still be working hard as a bicoastal project, spending most of the next few months working on the new full-length dated for a late 2007 release. After that, we hope to do extensive touring of the states and abroad to support the new record. We apologize to our Bay Area masses for not being able to set up a local show before our hiatus. We promise to play a San Francisco show some time in early 2007 when the band will be united again to begin recording.

And finally, thanks to everyone for an amazing 2006 Summer tour. It was brutally hot at times and the 11 hour driving days excruciating, but it was well worth it to play to all the grateful and appreciative folks, some of who flew and drove hours to see us. For a band that is now almost 6 years old (with its members in or entering the 30+ mark), it really inspired and motivated us to continue with writing and touring. We plan to keep this band going, so long as there are folks willing to listen to us, and hopefully, find inspiration to motivate political work and change.

In constant struggle,

FMTM
